A batch of Mario games join Nintendo Switch Online this month

It’s MAR10 Day and Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to play Dr. Mario, Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for the Game Boy on 12th March. The news joins the announcement that the Super Mario Bros. Movie 2 is in production and will be released in April 2026, along with Nintendo providing firm release dates for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2.

Thanks to iNintendo for sending in the news tip!

    1. I agree with you on Nintendo being lazy, we already have Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for Nintendo 64 on Nintendo Switch online, putting on Game boy is stupid, I want to see more N64 games, get with it Nintendo 😡😡😡

      1. I think he meant how the Mario Golf/Tennis games for the N64 and GBC could connect with each other to unlock special content

Now both games will be available, but said content is still forever locked since the GB and 64 apps cannot communicate with each other

  1. Don’t we already have Dr. Mario on the NES NSO library? Did we really need the Game Boy version?

Unless they’re vastly different versions between each other, but I have no idea.

  2. Let’s continue the #BringBackThePositiveVibes to MyNintendo news. Everyone, please abstain of attacking people for whatever reason or responding to trolls. Just share your excitement/dissapointment for the news. 😀
