You may recall that, last year, Capcom announced a brand new Monster Hunter game. The game, which is called Monster Hunter Wilds, was slated to release in 2025. Since then, there hasn’t been a whole lot of information on the game. In fact, there is still speculation in regards to a possible release on the Nintendo Switch.
Well, some more footage has been unveiled. Sony and Capcom premiered a brand new trailer of Monster Hunter Wilds during their State of Play earlier today. It is the first time gameplay has been shown. The game is still slated for a 2025 release, and the only platforms mentioned are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. You can see the trailer from the official PlayStation Twitter down below.

Looks cool. The gameplay and audience seems more orientated to Worlds, as it will have an option to link progression to MHW and not Rise.
Mark my words… MH Wilds will be a laun h title for the Switch 2.
I really enjoyed the trailer, all 7 seconds of it.
Ok, never mind i found the longer 3 minute trailer.
Sorry, fixed that on behalf of SSF1991.
This won’t release on Switch, but it could well release on Switch 2, it might even be a launch title.
I’m a big MH fan, but haven’t been impressed with the footage of this one yet. They keep showing the most dull environments and creatures. Bit worrying. Hopefully the dev team is more imaginative than they were with MHW.
HypeeeeeÉ!
