Sadly, a lot of video gaming companies have been laying off lots of people. This has been going on for many months now and doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Microsoft and Sony are among the companies that have done this. However, you may be surprised to learn that Nintendo, unlike the rest of the big three gaming hardware makers, has been hiring employees.
Nintendo recently posted a summary of their shareholder meeting. In it, Nintendo officially revealed that they currently have 7,724 employees. The company also announced that, over the course of the last fiscal year, they had hired over 400 employees. You can see a tweet that is relaying the news down below.
