Grasshopper Manufacture is a studio known for being the ones behind the No More Heroes games. However, the company has moved on from No More Heroes entirely following the third game’s release back in 2021. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped the company’s founder and CEO, Suda51, from being asked by Eurogamer about whether its star character, Travis Touchdown, will return someday.
According to Suda51, “honestly, not even I know that. Of course I’d love to see him again, but to be honest it’s simply not my call to make”. In the meantime, Grasshopper Manufacture will be releasing remasters of Lollipop Chainsaw and Shadows of the Damned later this year. They’re also collaborating with Swery65 for a new game called Hotel Barcelona that is also currently slated to release later this year.

Why would you want Travis Touchdown to return? What’s wrong with you? No more heroes was flavor-of-the-month tier, nothing special. This is why I hate new IPs. We have plenty of IPs as it is and making new IPs only wastes character slots in Smash (or crossover games in general) when they could have saved hem for more deserving characters who have waited longer. Just look at Steve. I know not everyone is going to agree with me on this, but people should really take smash bros into consideration when making games. Nintendo didn’t take Smash into consideration when making a link between worlds and look what happened. Now we got the wrong Zelda in ultimate.
