One thing that Nintendo has been doing for a long while now is releasing new profile pictures, backgrounds, and borders that Nintendo Switch Online members can get using gold coins that they can earn. These rewards are usually themed around various games, such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Strikers: Battle League and The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.
Well, some more icons are now available. This time, Nintendo is going retro by adding icons that are based on the 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong. To gain access to them, you’ll need to play the game via the Nintendo Switch Online NES library. After that, you’ll be able to spend Platinum Points for them. They will be available from now until July 2nd.
