It wasn’t known if the rumor was true. Not only that, but even if it was, there was uncertainty in regards to when Nintendo would be adding the games.

Well, not only has the rumor been officially confirmed, but they’re available sooner than you think. Nintendo has announced that Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge, Mega Man 2, 3, 4 and 5 are now available to play on Nintendo Switch Online. Nintendo of America tweeted the news on their official Twitter account, so you can see their tweet down below.

  1. Cool addition,by the way this news is from the future June 7,2024 actuakly right its 9:37 p.m. on June 6,2024.

    1. The pace they’re going at is better than the two games a month we were getting, but it’s still so frustrating because each app feels like it only gets updated 2 to 3 times a year now. At this rate, it’s going to take years before we still a decent collection for GBA.

  2. As long as these NSO apps remain up & running on future consoles with new games added & don’t get replaced with new virtual console that start from scratch with the library, I don’t mind the slow trickle of new games getting added. Definitely need more N64 & GBA games, though. Where’s bloody Ogrebattle 64, for instance!?

  3. The addition of five classic Mega Man Game Boy titles to the Nintendo Switch Online library is a nostalgic treat for fans of the Blue Bomber! It’s awesome to see Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge through Mega Man V now available—perfect for reliving those challenging platformer moments.
