Rumor: Rocksteady Studios currently pitching new single-player game to executives

It is an interesting year for Rocksteady Studios. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League released a few months ago, though sales haven’t met expectations. That said, the company seems to have much more in store. Rumors have appeared regarding a couple of projects that Rocksteady Studios is currently working on behind the scenes.

According to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, Rocksteady’s studio leads are interested in returning the company to its roots. They want to do so via a new single-player game, which they are currently in the process of pitching to executives. It is unknown whether this game will have a DC Comics universe setting or not, assuming the game is green-lit.

Meanwhile, Schreier is also reporting that Rocksteady Studios is assisting on a Director’s Cut of Hogwarts Legacy that will have some Quality of Life improvements and new content. However, this is all that was stated about this enhanced version of the game. Hogwarts Legacy originally released on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, a year ago.
