There were plenty of pleasant surprises at the Nintendo Direct presentation yesterday and one of those was news that the hit Wii game Donkey Kong Country Returns is getting the HD treatment for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. Many were wondering who the developer was for this specific title and it has since been revealed that it is none other than Forever Entertainment SA, the team behind the Panzer Dragoon remake. If you remember, Nintendo gave Forever Entertainment significant financial support in what it deemed a new publishing deal back in 2021. So there its is.
“Another surprise (question if it’s just for me). At the Nintendo Direct we saw Donkey Kong County Returns HD, which is the responsibility of…. Forever Entertainment. Strong stuff for Fork.”

I want them to get around doing Panzer Dragoon Zwei!
I already have DKCR on both 3DS and Wii U, I’m not sure I need it a 3rd time. I do recommend it to those who haven’t played it yet and now have a convenient chance to, though.
