Befitting Princess Zelda herself, a royal and regal version of the Switch Lite will drop alongside The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom this September. It’ll offer an illustrious alternative to both the Lite’s standard colours and its fellow variants. Pre-orders have not yet opened up, but the My Nintendo Store UK page for it has an option for fans to provide their email and get updates on its status.
The official press release from Nintendo is as follows:
“Additionally, a gold-coloured Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition console adorned with the Hylian Crest and inspired by the Legend of Zelda series arrives on 26th September as well. Players can enjoy access to a range of classic The Legend of Zelda titles from the NES, Super NES, Game Boy, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance with the included 12-month individual Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.”
The latest Nintendo Direct showed no signs of the Big N slowing down, and the release of a new console variation alongside Zelda’s rise to glory is sure to make the Switch’s twilight hours among its most noble.
