CoroCoro Comic Shadow the Hedgehog manga officially announced

You may recall that, a couple of days ago, reports were beginning to surface in regards to a Shadow the Hedgehog manga series that would begin in the October issue of CoroCoro Comic. Since then, fans began to speculate if, indeed, this was true and when the manga would be officially unveiled by SEGA.

Well, it has happened. SEGA’s official Japanese Sonic the Hedgehog social media has confirmed that the manga is real. Not only were the details previously mentioned true, but it was also confirmed that Imada Yuki will be the illustrator of the manga. You can see the official announcement, as well as an illustration of Shadow by Yuki, down below.

  1. Do I even want to know what Shadow will be doing in this manga?

It’s like SEGA wants to tell Sonic fans a specific lore change (more details about his and Gerald’s past), and are using this manga as a device. Or maybe they’re trying to tell us how Shadow made the conscious decision to join the ranks of the organization that murdered the one he cares about (really want to say love interest, since that has more weight) and frequently like to exercise their power (like most controlling military organizations in fiction).

    G.U.N. are jerks.

      1. Imagine being so self conscious and worrying about what others think that you’re too nervous to indulge in the things your interested in.

      2. Not to mention being a troll who has to feel good about themselves by picking on unhappy people. Sure hope YOUR favorite thing doesn’t implode on itself.

        Piss off.
