By now, you’ve probably heard the news from Insider Gaming that Ubisoft is allegedly working on a new Rayman game. The game is apparently a remake that is in early development, and it is going by the code-name “Project Steambo”. It is also apparently where the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team has been moved to after Ubisoft closed the studio down.
Well, a Ubisoft spokesperson has sent a statement to Kotaku that has officially confirmed the rumor. They said that “we are pleased to confirm Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan have recently started an exploration phase on the Rayman brand. The project is still in its early stages, and we will share more details later”.

I’m not gonna get excited until an actual reveal trailer happens. Never trust early development projects to become reality- they always have a chance of being shut down
With all the bull Ubisoft did lately, I rather put my tongue in a fan that this. Nah, Ubisoft had one job to do and failed horribly… #notmywitch
With how many times Ubi has fallen on its face lately, I’m not as excited for this as I’d like to be, which is a shame because I like many Rayman games and Rayman as a character.
