Koei Tecmo: Atelier Resleriana The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian offline and gacha-free

Koei Tecmo has announced on X that their recently announced Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch family of systems next year, will be completely offline and thankfully gatcha-free. We’ve now got two Atelier games scheduled for 2025 – Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian and Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land.

Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian:

  • Is an original story based in the world of Atelier Resleriana
  • Can be enjoyed offline, without having played Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator
  • Does not include a gacha system.

“A new adventure from the world of Atelier Resleriana is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Steam! New protagonists and an original story await in Lantarna.”

    1. There is nothing wrong with gatcha mechanics, it’s only bad if they are implemented badly or incorrectly. Y’all hate just to hate. Same thing with eng dubs.

That being said this is cool that they are bringing this game to Switch.

        1. I say it’s only bad when the spending is necessary, or give unfair advantages. If someone want to spend $500 on a game to collect a shiny golden armor that does nothing for the meta of the game, then so be it. It’s up to the individual.

  1. Me included, i love the Atelier series! I’m confused, did they have a game that wasn’t offline I’ve never played an Atelier game that was online.
