2023’s Kraino Origins is confirmed to now be receiving a follow-up next year.
Kraino ReBirth has met its Kickstarter goal and is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch on March 14, 2025.
The spooky, pixel-art Metroidvania comes from the studio GameAtomic, and is inspired by the likes of Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest, Mega Man X, Super Metroid, and Shovel Knight– among other classics from the platformer and adventure genres.
A demo for the game is available on PC through the developer and through Steam.
Kraino Origins is also 45% off for $6.59 on the US Nintendo Switch eShop until January 2, 2025.
