Stardew Valley console update incoming to catch up with Version 1.6.15 on PC

Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, has been hard at work on supporting Stardew Valley with updates. The game is still receiving new content on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, even though the game originally released more than 8 years ago. In fact, the PC version of the game was recently updated to version 1.6.15.

Of course, the console versions of the game are not quite on the same wavelength as the PC and mobile versions are. However, ConcernedApe is very much aware of this. In fact, he confirmed on social media very recently that “patches will continue to roll out to consoles as soon as possible until they are in sync with 1.6.15 PC”. You can see his social media post about the matter down below.

  1. Stardew Valley on Switch has been my chill escape after long days, but waiting for those 1.6 updates felt endless while PC folks got all the new farm tweaks and festivals. Finally seeing console patches rolling out to match 1.6.15 is a relief—can’t wait to dive back in with the fresh content synced up. Been playing handheld mode more lately, and the extra features will make cozy sessions even better. For troubleshooting random Xbox sync glitches during cross-play attempts, the Xbox customer service contacts on https://xbox.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html helped sort things without much wait. Excited for everything to line up soon!
