Nintendo says CES 2025 Switch 2 videos & images are “not official”

The beginning of CES 2025 caused quite a stir amongst Nintendo fans. Loads of Switch 2 leaks and rumors appeared, and since then, it has been a steady stream of them. It has been quite a week, and there has been a lot of questions about what Nintendo may do in response. The likely theory is that Nintendo will continue with their current plans.

However, that isn’t stopping Nintendo from saying a bit about the matter. For the first time since CES 2025, Nintendo has made some official remarks. They did so to Japanese outlet Sankei, who had reached out to them for a comment. What may surprise you is that the company representative that replied back didn’t actually say that the content is fake. In fact, they only said that “the images and videos are not official”.

It may as well have been a “no comment”, but it’s certainly not going to help Nintendo that their response may have only served to add more evidence suggesting that what we’ve seen and heard about the Switch 2 from CES 2025 is likely real and true. Still, the company has already stated that an official reveal of the console is coming within this fiscal year. At most, we have less than a few months to go.

  1. “Not official” means it’s false…
You have to read between the lines, especially since the basic rule in these companies is that we don’t confirm anything, we deny nothing, we don’t know anything about rumors!

  2. These leaks surrounding the Switch 2 just won’t stop! CES 2025 has added fuel to the fire and now the rumors are coming down one after another. Interestingly, Nintendo didn’t outright deny the leaks, only stating that the “images and videos are not official”. This sounds like a cautious admission that there may be some truth to these materials.

I came across one site that goes into detail about all the latest rumors and possible specs for the console. It’s hard to tell how much of it is true, but one thing is certain – Nintendo is clearly cooking up something! When do you think they will finally officially announce Switch 2?

  3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a popular open-world action game developed by Rockstar Games. Players follow the story of Carl Johnson (CJ) as he returns to Los Santos and gets involved in gangs, missions, and adventures across the state of San Andreas. The game is loved for its huge map, engaging story, and freedom to explore. https://gtasandresapk.com/
