    1. Probably after. The next direct isn’t until May so I would guess a July or August release at the earliest. I’m expecting a holiday release, though… mid-to-late November probably.

      1. I feel like it definitely releasing either late May or early June with July possibly being the latest theirs just no way it’s releasing in August that’s too long for a direct that’ll be in airing in the beginning of the year plus eyes have been on this system for too long they have a good hype momentum from January to June with the first announcement, direct and hands on experience it be kinda of no brainer to have it coming out after all that’s over.

        1. I would still say July or August is the absolute earliest. I believe the rumors that they plan to build up stock beforehand to avoid scalpers. It also gives more time to get launch titles ready, get a marketing campaign going, and November is always a good time for a new console.

I could be wrong but I think we should expect later in the year.

          1. Considering the factor that the Nintendo shipping data leakers have been pretty spot on, mass production has been started since last September so I still don’t see how June/July launch is out the question the original switch presentation was in January and it officially launch in March that’s about a two month time period, you still have some good points on launch, but I have a feeling if the direct is two months away those launch titles are definitely ready especially if its airing on the first week of April.
