Square Enix has confirmed this morning that sales of the excellent Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake have exceeded initial expectations and have contributed greatly to the company’s recent financial results for the 9-month period ended in 31st December, 2024. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is available now via the Nintendo eShop or your favourite retailer.

2D-HD is an untapped gold mine. I hate to put this idea out there, but The Pokemon Co. would clean up with 2D-HD remakes of the older gens.
This game is just great and well made, its success is only deserved
I wouldn’t mind 2D-HD remakes of some older Nintendo games. In fact, they could use them to test the waters to see if Golden Sun is still a viable franchise by releasing the first two games as one game, like originally intended.
