Nintendo has now removed all traces of VRR from the American, Japanese, Canadian, and European sites. The rollout of the removal of the text began yesterday and has since been removed. The removal was spotted by Digital Foundry reporter Oliver Mackenzie who was initially perplexed by the removal of the text from the company’s regional website’s. No doubt the company will issue a statement due course.
Original:

Removed:

Don’t forget to mention that the internal 1080p 120hz HDR screen still support VRR. So I guess only the TV out affected.
This might be a slight coincidence.
Now they’ll have a bunch of people saying it has VRR as “free” marketing, while it might not even be true. Clever.
