Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller has same battery life as the original

More details have emerged regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller via Nintendo. The original Pro controller has been praised throughout the years, thanks to its excellent battery life. Thankfully, it seems as though the Nintendo Switch 2 has exactly the same 40 hour battery life while taking a lot less time to fully charge from 6 hours of the original to 3 hours to fully charge the new Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller.

  • Switch – 6hrs charge time, 246g, approx. 40hrs battery life
  • Switch 2 – 3hrs charge time, 235g, approx. 40hrs battery life

    1. Bro, let me congratulate you for being the hero we didn’t know this site needed for unexpectedly kick quadraxis out of this site, his crush on you was stronger than the cybernetic entity role playing.

      1. I remember him. I thought he was weird over a decade ago, and I haven’t even noticed he stopped commenting. Thank goodness. He was way too obsessive.

      2. While I appreciate the sentiment, I didn’t have anyone kicked from the site 😂 I do miss the good ol’ days though come to think of it… How long have you been visiting this site? I calculated around nearly 10 years for me!

        1. That’s why i look like a zombie, you got me.

No need to be modest and you being humble is so inspiring.

I know good ol’ quaddy (a.k.a: Myzanthros, darkseid, darkness quaddy, darkravenbeak and [redacted]) is still out there as a features writter in a certain website.

    1. Apparently it also feels different and has some very smooth annd satisfying control sticks. 🤔 Also headphone jack.

    1. There wasn’t a major CPU/GPU change inside the controller, nor was there an increase from a 6.2 inch display to a 7.9 inch display, along with an increase from 1280×720 resolution to 1920×1080 resolution.

      You can’t be serious………

  1. Honestly, kind of surprised as I thought the headphone jack would have lowered the battery due to it require (not much) power when in use but then again I doubt it costs much on Battery life and these controllers last a life time
