The Pokemon Company always holds a special Pokemon Presents presentation on Pokemon Day which is 27th February. However, thanks to a leak in Pokemon Masters, we now know the showcase will kick off at 6am PT / 2pm UK time. No doubt we will hear about the next mainline Pokemon game, Pokemon Pokopia, Pokemon Champions and updates for the iOS and Android Pokemon games.

Spoilers: It’ll be disappointing. It’ll be made for last gen Switch and run similar to Scarlet and Violet. There might be Switch 2 editions for $10 more but maybe that might come later after everyone buys the Switch 1 copies first. The Pokemon Co loves to sell multiple versions of the same game, after all. Hmm… or it’s possible that, in addition to having the classic two versions, there will also be exclusive content on the Switch and/or Switch 2 editions. I could see that. Maybe some exclusive Switch and/or Switch 2 Pokemon joycons.
Oh, and it will be the best selling Nintendo game(s) of 2026.

I remember a time seeing Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon on the same shelf. And they were all for one console. And all the same price.

I have buyers remorse for pokemon legends za. I didn’t have to buy the game for cute women and Lysandre’s theme when I could have just watched cutscenes on youtube. I uninstalled the game because I couldn’t have traditional turn based battles. I suck at this real time combat even more than kingdom hearts chain of memories. I listen to Lysandre’s theme when I play gen 8 games. I wish Taunie would swap places with Hop because Hop is annoying and ugly while Taunie is an excellent waifu.
Can’t wait for Pokémon presents because of the 30th anniversary.
