Nintendo has announced the latest user icons for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers and there are two sets available today. Firstly we have got icons based on Rare’s Donkey Kong Country 3 with Kiddie Kong and Dixie Kong taking centre stage, The second batch of Nintendo Switch Online user icons are based on the charming Nintendo 64 game, Yoshi’s Story. Donkey Kong Country 3 has all new icons, while Yoshi’s Story is a mix of old and new icons. You can customise these profile icons to your heart’s content.
DKC3 is interesting to see but not too weird. Bananza has a treasure map item of some sort that depicts the Northern Kremisphere, so that game is definitely getting some love.
I never played with Donkey Kong Country 3 seriously. Maybe it’s time for it. Yoshi’s Story is too depressive for me.
DKC3 is a great game as long as you don’t compare it directly to DKC2. The level design and game philosophy is totally different than its predecessor. Also, why is Yoshi’s Story depressing to you? That game was always a joy to me because it was fun to make the baby Yoshis happy
