The original Kid Icarus game is the latest Nintendo title which has been added to the excellent Nintendo Music app. Kid Icarus debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System back in December 1986 and is well overdue for a new adventure. The Nintendo Music app is available right now on both iOS and Android devices and you need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership to use.

Honestly, I would’ve preferred the soundtrack to Kid Icarus Uprising over the NES game (the title screen in particular sounds… screechy).
Uprising has soooooo many good tracks- That First Town, Magnus’ Theme, The Lunar Sanctum, Aurum Island, Reaper Fortress… Pretty much the whole soundtrack is sublime.
