Ubisoft Milan hiring for big budget Rayman brand game

The mainline Rayman series has been one of the most mismanaged franchises at Ubisoft but hope is on the horizon as the company continues to expand the development team for their big budget Rayman title. Ubisoft Milan is currently looking for a Senior Game Designer and a 3D Gameplay Animator. It is not clear how far along in development the new Rayman game is, but all eyes will be on Ubisoft and the prospect of a flashy new trailer.

  1. Is sad, they are clearly desperate for a win, the investors are walking away, the fans are walking away, and they are putting even more pressure to developers to bring anything good on the table. I would love to have proper new Rayman game, but i don´t believe a product that comes from a sinking ship could be any good.

  2. Rayman Legends was a huge hit in my house and we own multiple copies on multiple consoles. I really hope that Ubisoft doubles down on the beautiful 2D art and amazing platforming gameplay. I have no interest in a 3D Rayman game.

  3. I actually got a Wii U on launch. So few games during that first year…

One promising game was Rayman Legends, a Wii U exclusive from Ubisoft. But then they decided to release it multiplatform and, for bs reasons, delayed the finished Wii U version so all platforms could launch at the same time.

Betrayal. I never bought the game. And to be clear, I don’t mean “betrayal” because it went multiplat. It was a betrayal to delay a finished game for a system that was in desperate need for some games at the time.
