The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2:
General
- Several issues have been addressed to improve gameplay on Nintendo Switch 2.
Note: The software update is required to play on Nintendo Switch 2.

I know this is just a fever dream, since Sunshine was built from the ground up with 30 fps in mind… but just imagine if they could lift that frame cap. I’d be so happy. :’)
Really want a version 2 with Super Mario 3D Land, and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I’d also love a port / collection of NSMB Wii, DS, and Gold 3DS one.
Nice to see Nintendo still giving some attention to Super Mario 3D All-Stars. The jump to version 1.1.3 sounds pretty focused, but that makes sense since it’s all about smoothing things out on the Switch 2. Even small fixes can make a big difference with older titles running on new hardware. It’s also good they’re being clear that the update is required to play on the new system, so there’s no confusion. Overall, it’s reassuring to know Nintendo is keeping these classics running properly.
