The Nintendo Switch 2 has proved to be a hot commodity in The Land of the Rising Sun as demand can’t meet up with supply. New information from Japanese news site Yomiuri Shimbun reveals that the Nintendo Switch 2 has broken the first month sales record set by Sony’s influential PlayStation 2 console. The Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 1,538,260 units in its first month (this doesn’t count consoles sold by Nintendo themselves) while the PlayStation 2 sold 1,134,862 units.
