Capcom has announced that the very entertaining Pragmata has surpassed one million units sold in just two days. The company hasn’t broken down sales by platform but it would be interesting to see how the Nintendo Switch 2 version fared. All in all it’s a great result for Capcom. Interestingly the press release accompanying the sales result has revealed that the game was developed primarily by a team of younger Capcom developers.

I hope they’re happy with this – them posting about it suggests they are. But we know in many cases that AAA titles nothing short of 5-10 million sales is seen as success. Hopefully Capcom were realistic about what can be achieved with a new AAA IP in the current market.
