Yooka-Replayee, the remake of the original ill-fated 3D platformer, could well be present in tomorrow’s Indie World presentation. The team has revealed in a YouTube short that it is has been wrapping up work on the release date trailer which features Chris Sutherland. If it’s not featured in the Indie World presentation, which takes place tomorrow at 2pm UK time, then you can be sure it will be uploaded very soon.

What a waste of money and time. Should have either made an entirely new game, instead of this. Yooka-Laylee can’t stand by itself as its own IP, it’s very much TEMU Banjo-Kazooie.
And from what I’ve checked, it doesn’t even fix the most egregious problems with the OG game, as if they still don’t get it. What’s the point??
Playtonic is just not it I hoped the Tencent money would have helped further Yooka Laylee instead they wasted in transitioning to publishing. It does kind of show you Rare’s demise wasn’t just them leaving and they can’t do it themselves.
