LynxByte Games, which appears to be a developer and publishing company which specialises in porting and supporting indie games, has shared online that the Nintendo Switch 2 uses DLSS 3.1. We already know that the Nintendo Switch 2 features DLSS but NVIDIA has not specially said which version of DLSS the system uses. DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) enables games to look sharper and have better frame rates.
The Nintendo Switch 2 apparently uses DLSS 3.1

In the immortal words of Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In Arte Johnson as Wolfgang… “Very interesting.”
But DF said it doesn’t… :’v
That’s why I always stress over MNN stopping giving DF any focus. They were trying to analyze the NS2 through YT videos, ffs.
Digital foundry have been trash and clueless about anything tech as of late idk why
What do you mean?
It’s important to not conflate coming to a wrong conclusion, and being clueless. DF still could be correct regarding version of DLSS on the other games they covered as this info also doesn’t tell us anything about what version of DLSS other dev studios might have used, all this tells us is that Switch 2 supports DLSS 3.1. This indeed could be the only version supported, but this doesn’t tell us that. For instance, it lists 4k and 120 fps, but we also know that it supports other resolutions and frame rates. An important thing to remember is that lack of observation does not equate to lack of existence.
I mean even Hardware Unboxed gave clear data that Nintendo cheaped out on the screen.. to nobody’s surprise
With Switch 2, they are stuck years in the past with their RTX 2050 test rig that was flawed from the beginning. Rather than admit to being wrong, they doubled down, and made up stories like “lite” DLSS when Nvidia’s own timing show this 18.3ms timing for 4k is ludicrous.
Just FYI, the 2050 is Ampere despite the name. 3040 probably would have been a more appropriate name. And either way it’s still at least double what the Switch 2 ended up with.
Yeah, the same folks that claimed Cyberpunk didn’t use DLSS until they told by the devs.
DF is the least reputable source for accurate information and has been for at least a decade. I want to say it was during the X1 era where they became Xboys and started collecting checks from Big Papa Microsoft because they started falsely promoting features the X1 didn’t actually have or could do; oftentimes with the underlying tone of putting the PS4 down. It was blatantly obvious they were getting paid because what they were doing, compared to others in the field, was giving them wildly different results. Anything they reported on for Xbox was positive (as were most articles written in that era before Xbox transitioned to a 3rd party) and gaslit the community into thinking Xbox was the most powerful, was being pro-consumer, and was taking risks and being highly successful doing so… None of which was true and we have a decade of evidence that objectively proves otherwise.
Tl;Dr – DF needs to be shut down, they’re easily swayed by a paycheck.
As usual from Robyn, lies and false statements without any proof or context.
Show proof and maybe we’ll listen, or not as you seem intently irrational and or misleading almost every time you post anything.
And yet Madden and fc 26 looks like 2018 trash
Speaks volumes on how trash those publishers/devs are.
Probably because it’s a PS4 Pro handheld and not a PS5.
Graphics wise it looks good. Stuttery frame drops is the problem. that’s definitely EAs problem for crappy ports once again. See if theres a day 1 patch
That’s on EA, not the hardware. The OG Switch could run Alien: Isolation almost on par with PC.
On Par with PC? If the potato PC you were referring too was an HP LaserJet 3000, sure.
Nintendo cheaped out on the screen as shown by hardware unboxed
Nintendo cheaped out on their screen cuz hardware unboxed showed clear data
Why did you feel the need to post this same comment multiple times under different aliases?
Somebody better let Nintendo’s development teams know then 🤣
Also switch 2 doesn’t support wifi 6 so what even is this list
Get your facts straight. Switch 2 DOES support WIFI 6.
Who exactly are they and what exact games have they developed? Because I couldn’t find a single game from them.
