Dusk Golem: Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake being treated as big budget mainline Resident Evil game

Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem has revealed some more information on the long-rumoured Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake from Capcom. Dusk Golem says that the Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake is being handled by the same team which worked on the excellent Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes and that Capcom is treating it as a big AAA Resident Evil release, so expect fancy visuals and a moody dark atmosphere.

  1. Controls are the worst in the game please replace them if you are going to fix it up could use fresh images to show the game better too!

    1. The fact that its being made by the RE2 and RE4 showcases that the controls and textures will totally be redesigned

  2. Old news but question after this they probably remake the first game do they remake Revelations after 1 and 2? Honestly Haunting Grounds would be great if they kept the “offensive” stuff in the game since it ads to what the game is. Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 could use remakes. Wonder if that Power Stone remake is happening?

    1. Revelations 1 and 2 are, in my opinion, too modern/new for a remake anytime soon. Also I swear I’ve never heard anyone talk about those games, they seem so forgotten. 1 was solid (though I didn’t like the machine used to gather information), but 2 felt too “open” to me, not like a real RE game.
