LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight doesn’t support online multiplayer or online co-op

The brand new LEGO game LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch 2 and looks fantastic. However, it has emerged that the game won’t support online multiplayer or online co-op. Sadly this continues the trend from other LEGO titles from TT Games and is a much-requested feature from fans. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is due out 2026.

  1. This is news apparently, i can’t recall any Lego games supporting online except “Lego 2k Drive” But Lego games by TT are usually 1p or local co-op.

    1. Lego Universe online which they need to bring back. Funny that game had a system to protect kids in the chat and with Roblox now many might want that back. Have it on console and it will do better also Lego Island games need remakes.

    1. They did? They’re using Stephanie or Carrie? New character? I honestly thought they’d use the awful new Tim Drake or Duke.

  2. Where’s Injustice 3? Sad we probably won’t see any new DC game in a while given how bad WB Games is and James Gunn. Gunn promised his tie in console games by now still nothing. Ed Boon the liar said they’d go back to making games 2 years after the previous still nothing and no Injustice 3. Having all these liars that are full of themselves needing to be on social media so often in charge doesn’t help. Avalanche Studios is available they should outsource some stuff to them Jonah Hex game, Superman game by Joe Kelly, and a cel shaded Generator Rex game by Joe Kelly and Casey.

    1. IJ3 would flop if made a 3rd game or reboot would cause problems not to mention a 10 year wait and the gaslighting of 2 ended the story which is false. DC being in a horrible place doesn’t help, people tired of Evil Superman, NRS doesn’t know how to write story, and game wise they suck too NRS fans wanted Konquest mode and 3D era they refused again to make MK1 Ed Boon tease Konquest and Onaga only not to deliver. He did the same with Marvel, Def Jam, IJ, and Godzilla man is a liar like Gunn. NRS is screwed either way if its not IJ and its MK after MK1 even more disaster on the way Boon is too full of himself and Shaun Himmerick being head of DC and MK games a former NRS employee doesn’t give much faith. If anything it enables Boon more.
