Suda51 testing to see if he can get his latest game running on Switch 2

The masterful SUDA51 has a new ultra-violent project in the works called Romeo is a Dead Man. The game was showcased during the latest State of Play broadcast and other platforms had not been announced, until now. SUDA51 says he’s currently trying to get the game up and running on the Nintendo Switch 2. He’s not sure if he can accomplish it, but he has said that they are currently testing it.

“Right at this moment, we’re in the middle of doing a bunch of tests and stuff basically to see if we can put it on Switch 2. I personally would love to get it on the Switch 2. I’m hoping it’s going to work out. It just depends on the results of this testing we’re doing. If Epic ends up working out for us – it’s made with Unreal Engine – and if it works out on Switch 2, then we’re going to do what we can to put it on Switch 2.”

  1. Wish he had done No More Heroes right with 3 that thing was an abomination. An anime would be good. Felt a darker No More Heroes about Jean prior to Travis would be great leading up to her fighting Travis in the first game like maybe 2 games as a prequel could also have DLC or Henry when he was in boarding school and meeting Sylvia. Suda and Gen Urobuchi seem like they’d be an interesting blend for a game. He owns Shadows Of The Dammned now thought he wanted to make a sequel? Curious if James Gunn his brother is going to hire him to make a DC game?

  2. Suda51 really isn’t that great though, that’s the thing. He tries to be Kojima but he’s at best budget-kojima. That’s not to say he hasn’t made good games, certainly not Shadows of the Damned, but he has far more misses than hits, speaking of SotD.
