Capcom apparently tried to remake Dino Crisis but eventually canned it

Capcom fans have been asking for a new Dino Crisis games or alternatively remakes for years now and according to Capcom-insider Dusk Golem they’ve attempted to do it but their results lead to it being canned. He went on to say that there have been a couple attempts in the last decade to remake Dino Crisis. The first to do this was Capcom Vancouver, before they were ultimately shut down. Capcom tried again just a couple of years ago, but the results weren’t up to management’s satisfaction, so that was also ultimately canned.

  1. Curious what the issue was? What did management not like or was it a cost concern? Honestly would love other remakes like Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 also Haunting Grounds no censorship on that one keep the sex physics it adds to the game how uncomfortable it’s supposed to be. Heard Power Stone is getting a remake curious if that’s real and happening.
