Prominent video game leaker NateDrake is the second leaker to state that there will be a Nintendo Direct next month. Nate says that the Nintendo Direct presentation is planned for the second week of the month so around 11th September or 12th September. It should be a good Direct for Mario fans as the franchise will be celebrating its 40th anniversary next month. So fingers crossed we get some fun announcements.

I think Nintendo needs to up the ante on this one and start creating some serious hype.
I would’ve thought as it’s Mario’s 40th anniversary then surely the lid will be lifted on the next big 3D game, maybe the rumored nsmb compilation, but something else like the next Zelda in development or something and mp4 release date of course

True, however more than one remake can exist. The 3DS remake was 14 years ago and tied to a handheld console. A new remake with modern controls for the big screen would be very well received.
I am holding out for some new 1st party Announcements, because Aside from MK World and Dk Bonanza, I think the Switch 2 is HEAVILY lacking in that department
