Dusk Golem says he has heard Resident Evil Requiem in development for Switch 2 and PS4

Resident Evil series insider Dusk Golem has said that he has heard, and that others have heard, that Resident Evil Requiem is also in development for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch 2. However, he says that he’s unsure if it will be available at launch on those two platforms. It makes sense that Capcom would want to be on the platforms given the userbase. This is of course just a rumour at present and Capcom has only announced Resident Evil Requiem for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Thanks to MasterPikachu6 for sending in the news tip!

  1. They’re scared since MH Wilds had a “soft launch” but to be fair third party games are not selling like that on Switch look at Street Fighter 6. It makes them look bad too they truly haven’t made a next gen game. Is Onimusha going to Switch? Pragmata? I feel Path Of The Goddess could easily run on Switch

  2. If it’s a truly good game and a quality experience on Switch 2, it’ll sell. Simple as that. Except if it’s on a Game Key Card. It’ll sell 100k if that happens.
