Japan: Latest Famitsu review scores

The latest edition of premier Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu is here and it contains a couple of high-profile reviews including Hollow Knight: Silksong and Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. The highest rated game in Issue 1916 is Hollow Knight: Silksong which received a total review score of 32/40.

  • Baki Hanma: Blood Arena (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 7/7/7/7 [28/40]
  • Hollow Knight: Silksong (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 8/8/8/8 [32/40]
  • Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch) – 8/8/7/8 [31/40]

  1. Never gonna trust another Famitsu rating after they gave Sonic Forces a score of 35/40.

    There’s no way that Sonic Forces is better than Silksong lmao

    1. Yep, totally agree. Their scores are odd sometimes.
      Silksong should have been 9s and 10s without a doubt.
      I expect they all found it too difficult and just couldn’t get gud.
      You just cannot get a brand new game as good for the money as well. Silksong is one of the best games I’ve played for ages

  2. The original hollowknight does not have the most stellar reviews on amazon japan, for some reason it doesn’t click the same with them as it does with us.
