Nintendo is requesting $4,500,000 in damages from a Switch piracy Reddit mod

Nintendo comes down hard on anyone who infringes on its vast intellectual properties and software piracy. The Kyoto-based company has requested $4,500,000 in damages from a Reddit moderator who advocated and operated multiple piracy sites. The unnamed user was asked by Nintendo to cease and desist but ignored the warnings and the lawsuit and therefore Nintendo is now looking to a court for damages. OatmealDome has stated that this is not ModdedHardware, who unwisely chose to defend themselves in court.
