SEGA willing to do more DLC content for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds

Sonic series producer Takashi Iizuka has said in a new interview with Polygon that if the numbers are there they are willing to do more downloadable content for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds. So far the team has announced a year of downloadable content, but Iizuka says if the player base is still there and copies are still selling then they are more than willing to expand on this and have perhaps three years of DLC content.

“If enough people are coming in and playing it, there’s conversations about the game. We have one year of DLC, we could do year two, we could do year three of DLC,” Iizuka says. “Tell us what you want!” Sonic: CrossWorlds being an online game gives room for the team to expand its content in the future. “These are the things we can do because it is an online game. We could add new gadgets, we could balance the game differently.”

  1. This game better be worth our while. I still enjoy Team Sonic Racing but the game has no DLC content that many of us been asking for. Crossworlds makes Sonic Team redeem themselves.

    1. No. Just bring back Sonic Riders my personal take. This games seems to have flopped but they invested so they’ll support it and hope it ups numbers
