One of the big surprises at The Game Awards is that Capcom has been working hard on a brand new 2D Mega Man adventure which is titled, Mega Man Dual Override, and is scheduled for release in 2027. It seems as though we should expect more information on the game soon as Rockman Corner owner Protodude says that “theres more coming sooner than you think” when talking about Mega Man Dual Override.
This is something a few of us have known about for a LONG time, and it has been a very hard secret to keep… …but there’s more coming sooner than you think.
“but there’s more coming sooner than you think” relates to Dual Override.
Co-op, mis and match MM, PM & B
Yes, when I saw the title, I also thought about co-op.
There might be co-op in the game. Some games do support co-op mode but some don’t.

This is fantastic news for Mega Man fans! A brand-new 2D adventure like Dual Override is exactly what the series needs, and the promise of more information “sooner than you think” is definitely exciting. 2027 feels far away, but knowing Capcom is actively working on something fresh and fun makes the wait a lot easier. Can’t wait to see what they have in store!

I wish Capcom would bring back Demon Crest or Gargoyle’s Quest. There is more than just Street Fighter or Mega Man.
Capcom should bring back other games or port Under The Skin, Gotcha Force, Auto Modellista, Crimson Tears, PN 03, Haunting Grounds, Maximo, God Hand, killer7, and Gregory Horror Show.
I’d love an HD remaster of Haunting Grounds, but I’m worried they’ll just do a remake instead and censor the game for “modern audiences”, ruining the entire point for why she’s being sexually objectified by the game & it’s antagonists.
