One of the more surprising announcements from The Game Awards is that the visually impressive sci-fi adventure Pragmata will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time as other formats. In a new interview with the developers it has been revealed that the team were surprised at how the game holds up on the less powerful Nintendo Switch 2 console. In an interview with Famitsu the team says that visually it stands shoulder to shoulder with Resident Evil Requiem. There will soon be a demo for you to check out.
Oyama: “I think it’s reaching a level that stands shoulder to shoulder with Resident Evil: Requiem. We plan to release a demo on every home console the game will launch on, so I hope everyone will give it a try. It’s shaping up to be something thoroughly enjoyable. Please wait just a little longer.”
Zhao: “When we first got it running on Switch 2, even the development team was surprised, saying, ‘Wow, it actually runs at this level of quality!’ The reaction was very positive.”

Fire, pretty hopeful about resident evil
Very curious on what the performance will look like on Switch 2. 😮
So awesome. Can’t wait :)
You’re a pedo
This coming to Switch 2 was a surprise but it’s because Capcom is worried about sales. Switch is market they lose on and this time they don’t want to lose it especially in Japan.
This is really exciting news! It’s amazing to hear that Pragmata looks so impressive on the Switch 2, even surprising the developers themselves. Being able to run a game at this level of quality on Nintendo’s newest hardware really shows how far the system has come. I can’t wait to try out the demo and see how it feels firsthand—this could be one of the standout titles on the console!
Thanks for the update, Sickr.

Um, no, it shows how much work the developer is willing to out in actually. We have to stop treating hardware like it’s some mystical being that magically gets things running when the reality is it’s up to the devs to put the same amount of resources and effort into every port. Many times devs blame the hardware, then the community just accepts the hardware is weak and laughs it off, but oftentimes the reality isn’t the hardware, it’s the devs. We know the Switch 2 hardware is weaker in comparison, but no gamer cares. We’ve been saying this for decades that graphics are irrelevant, and look what that’s gotten us with this current generation; nothing but diminishing returns, longer dev times, for games that look phenomenal but don’t hit the mark.
Weaker hardware isn’t a problem, it’s the devs and their excuses.
Pedo game made by pedos who worship Israel
Why does this look and sound like an AI comment? Weird
As someone who has been following this game for the past year, I am really excited to try it out when it comes to switch 2🤩
It’s such a shame Nintendo are struggling with what is their usual strength – software – because the Switch 2 hardware is actually very impressive. I feel it has been underrated, it is a genuine cut above something like the Steam Deck in terms of power (or more accurately the end result when you factor in DLSS) and is running in a more compact unit. When you look at Star Wars Outlaws and the upcoming Resi Evil Requiem on the platform it’s some seriously impressive stuff for a portable machine. But it’s just lacking the right game to make people think they need to upgrade right now.
Bruhh.. I saw a lot people complaining about big Nintendo games not on Switch 2.. I think most developers just waiting for Switch 2 user to garner more install base, let say atleast 20 millions before they announced or release their games on the platform, or they will lose momentum at software side especially exclusive games on 1 platform.. this also will give other developer some head room to polish their games.. Year one will be for those who wants some upgrade on the shelf, year two will be kickstarter for any console since mostly game will start pumping out.. whether they can maintain the momentum will be up to Nintendo.
Or more accurately, the gaming development landscape is a hell for everyone plus tariffs causing hardware supply issues so everyone is trying to cope as best as they can
It’s going to be a typical thing: 30fps (probably less in handheld), low quality, but working. Then you have the 2 home consoles running it at a medium settings 30fps and PC running it at full power if you have a decent one.
“High quality” on switch 2 means “it works”. Which, for games like this, is impressive anyway.
I like the hacking in the middle of a fight. Reminds me of Nier Automata ❤️
First of, it comes from Capcom, therefore no buy. Second, pretty graphic says nothing about the gameplay, therefore not jumping the hype train.
What’s your issue with Capcom?
Capcom is trash and greedy
These comments are pretty sus. It’s like im walking through the uncanny valley.
