Games data lover Pierre485 has reported that the Nintendo Switch 2 has now sold over three million units in Japan after a mere 27 weeks after launch. This makes the Nintendo Switch 2 the fastest-selling video game console in Japan, beating the likes of the Game Boy Advance, which sold 3.171 million units and Sony’s PlayStation 2 which sold 3.11m. The Nintendo Switch 2 has sold more than double the Nintendo Switch consoles sold in the same time frame.
And we haven’t seen any new first party titles yet. Now once that comes, sales will triple I bet.
