It seems Final Fantasy 14 is finally happening on Nintendo Switch 2 with the producer behind the game Yoshi-P apparently telling fans in a New Year’s message, “Please look forward to Final Fantasy 14 on Switch.” There had been mentions by Yoshi-P that it was coming on the original Switch, but with the more powerful Nintendo Switch 2 now available, it seems as though the dream is finally coming into fruition.

2026 will probably be the most insane year for 3rd-Parties on a Nintendo system since like the 90’s. I’m glad everyone is finally putting some respect on the Switch/Switch 2!!
No thank you on this. FF15 yes to that, Sleeping Dogs, Ninja Gaiden 4, KH collection, GTA 4 and 5, Space Marine 2, Bleach Rebirth Of Souls, DMC 5, Shenmue 1 and 2(weird that isn’t on Switch), these are just a few.

I haven’t resubbed to it in a year. Dawntrails was a horrible expansion. Hopefully next one is better.

The last thing anyone wants to play is FF14 with constant disconnects, terrible frames, and players and npcs teleporting all over the place like Goku on crack.
Besides, everyone who wanted to play FF14 are either already playing it somewhere else or already finished with it and moved on.

I actually want MMO’s just good ones. Like Fusion Fall bring that back, Lego Universe Online, and like others for franchises like Pokemon, Digimon, .hack, Sword Art Online, it would be fun but companies are too out of touch. Kingdom Hearts would be bigger as a MMORPG but Square is just to braindead.

Agreed. Where is KH4??! If you show gameplay in 2022 people expect it to be released soon not ghost. I blame Square mismanagement and useless influencers who suggested they waste money on stuff like this over KH because they’re old and hate KH people like Max Dood same way he hates anime. KH fandom and anime fandoms need to go at him like the DOA community did.

Man what happened to this site over the past little while? It’s full of the same “trash” “woke” “slop” and other useless comments, it was never this much of a circus before. I sadly think it’s time to find a new homepage for random Nintendo news. Nothing against the site itself which makes it even worse.

I’ve gotten the impression that a lot of these comments come from the same person commenting under multiple different aliases. A lot of them say the exact same thing, are posted at similar times and are even typed in the same way. That’s the kind of thing you get when you allow anonymous commenting, trolls galore.
But yeah, I think I’m going to find a new Nintendo news site too. There’s practically zero chance of having intelligent discussion on here anymore, it’s all just right-wing chuds having breakdowns about everything being “woke”.

That isn’t bad I’ve seen worse comments here mocking Charlie Kirk’s murder and calling for more murder of those who are right wing on this site numerous times. Saying woke, slop, and a game is trash is not weird or problematic compared to that.
It sadly got taken over by activists. A certain “content” creator decided to react to an article on here and this is the result.
