Nintendo has recently trademarked The Legend of Zelda Tri Force Heroes and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash. It is more than likely that this is just standard trademark renewal by Nintendo, but it would be lovely if The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes come back in some shape or form. With both the Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchises celebrating anniversaries this year, who knows what will happen.

Triforce Heroes was genuinely a fun game, especially with friends. I’d be happy to see it return.

Triforce Heroes is the only Zelda title I actively skipped. Loved Four Sword and Four Sword Adventures though
Yeeeessss I’ve been wanting Tri Force Heroes on a home console since the Wii U, the 3 player co op system is perfect for a split screen experience! 👏
Trademarks are typically renewed every 10 years or so, and both of these games came out just over 10 years ago; so this is unlikely an indication of anything other than that time is passing.
