Tomb Raider in Japan could have had a Lara Croft anime redesign

The co-creator behind the original Tomb Raider video game has revealed that the iconic Lara Croft nearly received an anime-style redesign for Japanese audiences back in the day. The anime-inspired designs for Lara were delivered quite late into the development process, so it is unclear whether time or a point blank refusal were to blame for it never materialising. Still it would certainly have been interesting to see.

Victor wanted us to change in-game Lara to appeal more to a Japanese audience. Huge eyes/head etc. They faxed through examples really late in dev. Toby Gard really didn't want to alter Lara. As a compromise all that was changed was the manuals & guide. Not sure who did that render or illustrations.

They need to leave the country not just get triggered they all said they would leave if Trump won never did twice said they would delete Twitter if Musk buys it they never did and don’t get me started on the other hypocrisies like human rights issues China, Israel, Saudi Arabia, venture capitalists, mega corporation enabling and shilling. They all still use Amazon
