It’s just been announced that Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner will play the lead role as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider show coming to Prime Video. The series is the mastermind of creator, writer and co-showrunner Phoebe Waller-Bridge from Fleabag. Production of the Tomb Raider series has set a 19th January date for production to begin. Turner follows the path set by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander.
