Monster Hunter Wilds update scraps Nintendo Switch 2 from code, but leaves local-multiplayer illustration

It seems it’s a “when” and not an “if” that Monster Hunter Wilds is currently being worked on by Capcom for the Nintendo Switch 2 system. As we had previously reported dataminers found numerous mentions of the Nintendo Switch 2 hidden within the code in a recent update. With the latest update this week the mentions of the Nintendo Switch 2 have been removed, but instead they have accidentally left the Nintendo Switch 2 local-multiplayer illustration in the code. Hopefully it gets unveiled soon.
