Dusk Golem says Capcom scheduled big Resident Evil series meeting in 2027 a bit after Code Veronica remake

Resident Evil insider DuskGolem has said on X that he has heard that the bigwigs at Capcom have scheduled a big Resident Evil-themed meeting for 2027 where the company will assess the newly released Resident Evil Requiem and envision the Resident Evil franchise going forward into future years. DuskGolem says that this meeting will happen after the release of the long-rumoured Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

“Capcom is a very data based company. They definitely have a bunch of things being measured by RE9, like past RE games. And paying attention to reviews, general feedback, sure they’ll have a survey for RE9 pretty soon to give feedback.

That will happen in 2027, a bit after Code Veronica Remake has come out, where they’ll have meetings about all the data, feedback collected, etc, & decide how to move forward with Resident Evil based on RE:4, RE9 & Code Veronica Remake, how best to go forward.”

  1. Hopefully Code Veronica will do well, its the actual Resident Evil 3. Wish Resident Evil 3 Remake would have been better, they cut entire locations and sections out of it from the Original to Rush it depending on the assets from RE2 Remake. RE0 really needs remade and maybe more content added. I recent tried going back to RE0, no item boxes really ruins the game quick.
