  1. I knew it looked like a girl so this was a fake out they let people think otherwise. Not too surprised given Konami’s recent games

    1. We didn’t know who it was since we have multiple girls in castlevania. But this is such a cool character, coming from a random game boy game. I love dead cells combat, so I am looking forward to this.

  2. No surprise and they tried to mislead people. More woke slop from Konami Silent Hill 2 remake ugly face, Silent Hill f woke rest, now this SMH

    1. OH MY GOSH, STOP SPAMMING!!! Read my comment, all of your comments are quickly proven false by common knowledge.

    2. There was no misdirection. The name Trevor was mentioned, and it clearly showed a male face. The trailer showed a woman as the playable lead, a character that we now know for sure is Sonia, the lead in a game from the 90s that’s finally being reintroduced into canon. Sonia isn’t new. Having a female lead isn’t “woke.” They’ve existed since the 80s. Nothing about this reveal exemplifies the classic tells of pandering, poorly written wokeness, which is a problem in a lot of media.

  3. Vaylorn of Hallownest

I’m not too knowledgeable of Castlevania.

I know we knew about a Sonia Belmont before.

Is this Sonia Belmont really Trevor and Sypha’s daughter? Or no?

I mean it did say, this person was Trevor’s successor right?

  4. Not sure why it matters. Bloodstained ROTN felt like a spiritual sequel to Aria of Sorrow and you played as a woman. And do you know how playing as a woman changed the gameplay or story? It didn’t.
