Pokemon Champions launched today and is meant to be the future of battling with Pokemon with an emphasis on the game being part of The Pokemon Video Games Championships. However, Kotaku has noticed that fan reaction to the game, which is available now on the Nintendo eShop, is quite tepid. Players of the free-to-start Pokemon Champions have noticed a number of bugs, missing items, and accuse the game of ultimately constricting competitive play. It should be noted that Pokemon Champions is likely a game in progress, but its rocky launch today has left a bad taste in some fans mouths.
Pokemon Champions has apparently had a bit of a rocky launch

Man, I would have killed for this not to be a live service game and be a new traditional stadium game.
A Pokemon game had a buggy launch? Noway
Yes it does.
Hope they get everything sorted out in a timely manner.
I transferred all my Pokemon to Pokemon home only to find out they all won’t work in Pokemon Champions. That was the only reason I was excited for this one. I uninstalled it and I’m waiting for an update
I hope they fix this in another update this week.
Fifty dollar subscription ontop of Home’s Paid Subscription, ontop of Nintendo’s Paid Subscription, ontop of a Internet Bill. That is corrupt. I mean the Prices and quality and DLC of Pokemons main games are already corrupt to so.
Bro, you’ve been saying this multiple times in every related article, we get it.
Bro, how about you ket people say what they want. Sorry that I’m distracting you from your fantasy life where Pokémon is the greatest thing in existence.
Modern Pokemon is scum, Slop, and a Scam
Dude, he agrees with you, but we are just tired that you have spammed the same comment 3 times on three articles. No one is defending modern pokemon.
@MrFrost64
Correct, I agree with their comment but seeing 666 of the same comment gets old real fast.
Thank god Urbain is nowhere to be seen on this game. I played as a boy on legends ZA just to avoid his ugly butt.
Wow! The rocky launch of Pokémon Champions shows how even big franchises can struggle if user expectations aren’t met! In places like Australia you must expect smooth performance and localized relevance. Stability and clarity are key in any platform. Do you like any other games by the way? I spent time on golden crown casino and after registration explored their deposits and gaming opportunities. It becomes clear that reliability matters, so hats off to them for that.
