Reliable retail leaker Bilibili-kun has stated that the Nintendo Switch 2 physical edition of Red Dead Redemption will be a code-in-box affair and is due to be released in stores on the 7th May. The code-in-box release can be yours for €34.99.

This is absolutely pointless, u might as well buy the ACTUAL physical switch version and u get the free upgrade to switch 2 anyway. And it’ll probably be cheaper if you get it off eBay or something.
The only thing this confirms ( if it’s true ) is that when and if red dead 2 comes to switch 2 it’ll be code in the box malarkey again!!
It’s on sale right now for 25$, I will assume if this is true, it will be 50$. Just buy it digitally at that point!
This ‘leak’ is nothing extraordinary… this guy didn’t look far to come up with something highly likely…
Otherwise, people, you will have to get used to it: physical versions will become more expensive than digital, and this is likely to increase since retailers are delivering more and more games before the release date…
Well I already have the switch one version on physical so I won’t have to buy the switch 2 code in a box
Devs will do anything except put a game small enough to fit on the largest capacity.
