Nintendo has announced a new online event for the Nintendo Switch 2 game Mario Kart World and the event is titled European Springtime Skirmish. You can participate from 12pm UK time on Saturday, 25th April until 8pm UK time. To participate simply search for the event in-game on Saturday with the four-digit Event ID: 5631.

When the event begins, each player will start with a versus rating of 3,000. Depending on your position when the race ends (either in the final stage or via elimination), your ranking will then go up or down. Keep placing as high as possible to drive up your ranking and stay ahead of the competition.
Knockout Tour races are longer than usual VS Races, so this online event lasts a full eight hours. In that time, you can participate in a maximum of 16 Knockout Tour races. Once the time is up or you hit your race limit, your rank will be locked in!
How to participate:
- From the game’s main menu, choose Online Play
- Press the – Button to select Search for an event
- Enter the following four-digit Event ID: 5631
- Once confirmed, you’ll see the event details and can join the fun!
They should be announcing new content instead of events…
